Day 2: One last stop

And this heaping scoop of heaven will only lighten your wallet by $2.29.

UDF is--as the kids say-- the shizz.

Day 2: Geographically Challenged

I had a WTF moment here when I forgot that there is a tiny six mile sliver of West Virginia between Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Only three hours left before I get to Cincinnati! Could there be a UDF stop on the way? Stay tuned...

Day 2 random shit: Tiny World

A few miles off the PA Turnpike, located off to the side of some guys house is Tiny World. It's a bunch of miniature buildings that some retiree built so that his cats could live there.

And thus concludes this edition of Road Trip Randomness.

Day 1: City of Brotherly Love

So today is the first day of the rest of my life.

Left in the morning from Boston and plowed straight through to NYC to meet a friend for lunch.  Afterwards, I ended up going to Grom Gelato for dessert.  I ordered a small tiny cup of gelato which was pretty good, but honestly not worth the $5.25 price tag!  New York, enough is enough already.

Then it was onward to Philadelphia, whose only attraction for me is a greasy Philly cheesesteak.  Although I was impressed by the ridiculous amount of meat being cooked on the stove, the cheesesteak itself was surprisingly average.

I then ended up at an AMAZING gelato place in downtown Philly, which had a ridiculously good sugar plum flavor, which I paired with a watermelon flavored gelato.  Unbelievably good--my new favorite gelato place ever!  So good I didn't even think twice at the $4.50---totally worth it.
