One more thought on Bengals-Pats

So the Bengals do have a small chance of winning this game. If they do it, this is how:

(wait, wasn't that the title of OJ's book?)

-On offense, they'll have to move the ball down the field with long clock-killing drives to keep the defense fresh. They will want to hit a few big scoring plays to Chad and TJ, but shoudln't force anything if it's not there. Everything rests on Carson Palmer's shoulders here.

-On defense, they don't have much chance of stopping drives unless they generate turnovers. This is the only strength of the Bengals defense--getting their hands on the ball. Tackling is definitely not a strength. I think they'll need to force 3 turnovers to have a shot at winning the game.

-On special teams...just not allowing a TD is probably the best one can hope for.

Lastly, for any football ubernerds out there, here's a good breakdown of what ails the Bengals D.
