The Oscars

Though I wanted to sneak in one more Best Picture nominee before this weekend, I wasn't able to get Netflix to mail me one in time. I've heard whispers that Babel is the favorite to win, but if this movie is so good, how come no one I know has seen it or knows what it's about?

So of the 3 movies that I have seen, it should be clear from previous posts that I think "Letters from Iwo Jima" is the best of the bunch. I'll be rooting for Clint to take home that directing Oscar as well. Scorsese has probably deserved the statuette for some of his past works, but I don't think he should be getting it for The Departed.
