Calling my shot
I try not to follow the NFL draft, because it's way too overhyped. Yet, on the day of, I can't help but be eager to find out what players we get. With rumors that the Patriots are trying to trade up, I'm thinking they are looking for a defensive lineman in the 1st round. Let's see if I'm right.

Are you suggesting five hours of pre-draft coverage on the NFL network is too much?
It's exciting to see the trades and the results of the draft but the majority of the coverage is probably the worst of sports television. Little action and just a lot of people talking and speculating about things. The Mel Kiper highlight packages about the top picks are nice and it's cool when he explains things about players that nobody has ever heard of. The rest, however, is pretty much garbage.
