Much Ado about Nothing

Four months after both ESPN and the NY Times reported that former Patriots assistant Matt Walsh may have additional information about the Patriots' spying practices, Walsh finally reveals what he knows.

Which is...nothing.

No Rams walkthrough tape, no video of any other forms of cheating, not even a 10-second clip of Tom Brady stepping out of the shower.

Yawn.

Well, mostly nothing, right?

While you're completely right that this is not what Walsh was advertised to have, the NFL probably should not have said that this is "nothing new" until after they actually viewed the tapes.

Meanwhile, Arlen Specter is still wasting his time on this subject. What does he expect will happen? The Patriots championship over the Eagles getting overturned and the Eagles declared champions by default? Then a championship parade will be held in Philadelphia with Arlen Specter as grand marshall! After that, Arlen Specter, who will then be a Pennsylvania hero can be guaranteed re-election forever!

Maybe. I get the feeling that the reporting of what the Patriots admitted to the NFL is a little bit unclear.

With Specter, the idea that he is causing trouble on behalf of Comcast (one of his biggest campaign contributors) is becoming more believable every time he opens his mouth.
